Description

This multimedia case will be developed in the context of the current race for space mining, i.e. activities on celestial bodies such as the Moon or asteroids aiming at extracting minerals and water. In this context, the case will explore damage from one party to the other outside of Earth’s orbit. The case aims to apply comparative law to the context of space. In addition to space law, the participants will have to apply different notions and concepts of Tort law regarding damage caused by space activity in outer space and on Earth.
