This technical note provides information to entrepreneurs so that they learn more about a financing formula for the business activity called “venture capital.” To do so, we analyze what venture capital is, what the unique features of the system are and how the different players are positioned in this sector and we illustrate how the relationship should be between the entrepreneurs and venture capitalists.
