The 15th edition of the annual conference organized by The Media & Learning Association, titled “Media & Learning 2023: Where Pedagogy Meets Media”, was held in the Belgian city of Leuven on the 20th and 21st of June.

In this setting, the MEDEA Awards are presented, an accolade that recognizes excellence in the application of audiovisual means to support and enrich education. IE University Publishing had the opportunity to participate in the event and succeeding award ceremony to present the multimedia tutorial “Effective Communication for Leadership”, as one of the finalists.

“Effective Communication for Leadership” is an interactive multimedia tutorial created by IE University professor Javier Bernad and the IE University Publishing team, which revolves around deciphering the keys for charismatic communication, guiding the student through the most important aspects of effective oral communication (i.e., message, resources, non-verbal tools and behaviors, among others). With the aid of several videos, readings and practical exercises, students will be able to learn from the professor and renowned speakers, putting the acquired knowledge to practice.

We are overjoyed to share this recognition with you, as it is the direct result of our effort and dedication, as well as a reflection of the vision and creativity that drives our institution.
