This simulator is played in real time and usually lasts for the duration of a class session. During the activity, students will be faced with an ethical dilemma which will affect their business.

The simulation provides a framework for analyzing the decisions people make under these types of situations, and encourages them to search for successful strategies for managing such dilemmas.

Students are organized into groups and take charge of factories which surround a lake. Players need to manage a common natural resource, the water inside the lake. As company directors they must make decisions to increase profits, whilst at the same time conserve the quality of the lake’s water on which the production process depends.
