The Quantum Hack is a virtual reality cooperative experience where two students venture into a quantum computing facility. As the facility faces a sudden attack by an unknown hacker, they must solve a series of instructional puzzles to regain control of the quantum computer while they are introduced to fundamental concepts of quantum physics and computing, such as the role of qubits, superposition, entanglement, observation, and quantum coherence. This fun, innovative experience will provide students with key information about one of the most important upcoming technologies. The experience will last 30-40 minutes and will be done in pairs using the Oculus Quest 2 Headset.
