For the third year in a row, a learning case developed by IE University Publishing has been selected as a finalist in the prestigious MEDEA Awards. This recognition reaffirms the team’s commitment to creating innovative, relevant, and high-quality learning experiences.
This year, the project Moda re-: A Quest to re-Store Sustainability and re-Imagine Fashion was chosen from among 137 entries from 31 countries for its outstanding pedagogical and audiovisual quality. The interactive case invites learners to reflect on sustainability and the circular economy through the real-life story of the Spanish company Moda re-, a leader in textile recycling and social transformation.
Designed by Professor Rachida Justo, the case immerses students in an interactive journey combining videos, interviews, animated infographics, and engaging activities. Its aim is to encourage critical thinking around the environmental impact of the fashion industry and to promote more responsible business decisions.
This recognition marks the third consecutive year that a project produced by IE University Publishing has reached the final stage of the MEDEA Awards—a milestone noted by the jury, who praised the team's consistency and sustained excellence.
At IE University Publishing, we congratulate the case’s author and everyone involved for driving forward such impactful and inspiring projects that make a real difference in the classroom. This latest achievement fuels our motivation to keep exploring new ways of teaching and learning—ways that are closely connected to the real-world challenges of today.
